    An alliance has been formed between the International League, the Eastern League and the Carolina League, and the CBUAO whereby the CBUAO will provide umpires, on a fill in basis, for the three professional leagues during the 2007 season. Many times during the course of a season an opening will exist due to illness, injury, or promotion of an umpire to a higher level. In these situations, the CBUAO will be the official provider of umpires for the International League (AAA), the Eastern League (AA) and the Carolina League (A).
